Die Francesca sud

To the friends of La Francesca we propose for the next Summer, in addition to Bonassola, another holiday place - a different kind of sea - at La Francesca Sud, in the hearth of the Cilento National Park. A 6 hectares’ wood of secular olive and carob trees, with footpaths included in the network of biosphere reserves (UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site).

In a protected marine area, at a few steps from a calm sea with crystal-clear waters, coves and bays alternate along a wild coastline dotted with watch towers.

You can explore spectacular underwater and surface caves, inhabited by man since ancient times. 30 kms of coastline that can only be reached by sea, from the Massetta to Punta degli Infreschi (so called for the presence of low temperature fresh water marine sources).

Accommodation: the 27 “Minoline”are an innovative project of the sixties of the Milanese architect and urban planner Giulio Minoletti. Today it could be defined as a first glamping settlement with rigid tents equipped with bathroom and kitchenette for 2 adults and 2 children, an essential space in the silence of a perfumed Mediterranean vegetation.

In the ‘80s fiberglass structures were added, the “Gocce”: 16 sqm with 2 single beds + 2 loft-beds for children, kitchenette, bathroom with shower. Each accommodation has an outdoor area for dining or reading…
